Update: Downloads replaced with a fixed version (for Studio One problem) 2/19/15
Greetings! I was just about to announce a new product I've been working on and thought I would see what people think.
It's a VST and AU plugin (Mac or Windows) called Spirit Reverb. Basically it's core effect is a spring reverb and you can select from 7 reverb types including some non-spring reverbs (called Digital, Cosmic, Echoing). There is also a nice parametric 2 band EQ that can be set to wet signal only, and there is tube sim for tube reverb unit emulation. I think there's a ton to explore is this plugin even though the concept is fundamentally simple, you'll see what I mean in the videos, it's not just anther reverb plugin.
Also a note about the demo, it doesn't have any DRM at all, just a reminder in the corner of the window. I think it's really nice to have a totally uncrippled demo, though I'm not sure we will do this in the future. The license says you allowed to use it for 30 days.

This video shows most of the spring effects including tube at the beginning and a nice exaggerated drip at the end.

This video shows what I call Cosmic reverb. I think it's a must see.

For those of you who aren't into guitar. This is drums, synth, and piano with Spirit Reverb.

I don't find much time to post these days but I am passionate about guitar effects and other aspects of music creation, if anyone has any questions or wants to discuss new ideas lets hear it.

The demos sound good, I'm not even a reverb fiend really, but I found my ears going "yeah, that's a pretty cool sound".
Thanks, the springs in the UI can be turned off individually, and they will fade, and you can set their timing individually. You can't move them as you describe though.

Very impressive! The price makes it a no-brainer too. My reverb collection doesn't yet have a nice spring reverb. I think this will fill that void.
Nicely done!

The Cosmic Reverb demonstrates that you have done a NICE job modeling the dispersion! Congratulations on the release!

This does sound good, better than the Softtube one actually.

Interesting. I have the PSP spring reverb but this seems to have a much wider palette of sounds. Nice price too. Is it an intro price or is that the permanent price?

I would say technically it is an intro price but there isn't a plan to change it yet and you can assume it won't change within a month.ChamomileShark wrote:Interesting. "Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.
