Typically a plug in like this would be in the Midi FX strip menu, but its not. it shows up as an Instrument. so am I supposed to create a midi environment somehow to map the midi output of Cream to a synth plug in? or is this supposed to show up in Midi FX and something went wrong with my installation?

It should show up in the MIDI FX section: Audio Units -> Kirnu -> Cream
There was some problems in the installer with in the initial v1.2 release.
Try to download Cream again and reinstall it.

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the current installer, deleted the AU and VST files in the Plug ins folder, installed from the lastest pkg, restarted Logic and still no love in the midi FX menus (Cream does not show up). any other ideas?

I uploaded a new version of Cream demo.
It should work now. Please download it again and reinstall it.
