i purchased maschine today. i bought it second hand but didnt realise how old it was..
in the requirements it says only vista and xp were supported
i have windows 7 ,,,,,,,,,,,, so im wondering if i can use my controller if i update maschine software or can i still use version 1 which wud be cool

i use my Maschine MK1 with Windows 7 & it works like a charm

both Maschine 1.8 & 2.2 are on my system at the same time

yes, I have both versions on my win7 computer and the mk1 controller works fine with maschine2.

maschine installtion problem in windows 7
