T6.1 bug? REX not working

Sigh, did the search on the forum, but could not find anything on REX functionality.

I'm running T6.1 32bit on WinXP SP3 (laugh, I know). T6 reports that it can't read REX files and to install the latest shared library. I d/l'd the latest Win REX shared library (1.5.4) from Propellerheads and installed it, but the same error occurs.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Try archiving the REX shared library.dll in the Tracktion 6 program folder, for a backup.
Delete the unpacked .dll file.
Now it should work. (You have the Propellerheads REX file in the system root installed already)

Thank you phledo! Brilliant, worked perfectly. Looks like the REX version that comes with T6.1 is not compatible with WinXP.
