Wusik Station V8.0.2 released! Both Full and Demonstration files updated. Windows and MAC, 32 and 64 bits versions.

-------------

Jul 15 2015 - V8.0.2

- The Tree File Browser now has a new option that let you link manually any older Wusik Station / Wusik EVE Data folders and also up to 3 extra user folders (which you can rename them in any way you want to show on the tree view). Click on the top area to open up the options menu and click on "Manage Extra Folders". The linked folders are also used by the sample player to check for preset sounds.
- WS Legacy Filter: fixed a crash when the filter was in Bypass mode and some parameter was tweaked.
- Sample Player: fixed a mute problem when playing samples in dual-mode.
- More optimizations done.
- Several small fixes done.

-------------

Also uploaded the updated Westgate presets: SNDS_Dnekm_Presets.zip
Thanks bud for the hard work! :-)

New beta 04 uploaded, both Windows and MAC, both public and private files. Users who purchased it should download the private files for the Download URL so they can save presets / song information, as the public version doesn't.

Fixed a problem with the filter Freq modulation. Added more presets too.

Posted a new video showcasing this fix.

Well, I never tested Alchemy, so I don't know. All I can say is that you can do a lot from the current beta, download and check the showcasing presets and watch all the videos and let me know if I'm missing something, please?

One thing I'm thinking, as I did the last video, is about the classic problem: polyphonic voice modulation source to monophonic voice modulation destination. EG: Mod Envelope to LFO in a layer with more than 1 voice (not monophonic).

So, currently if the destination modulation is monophonic, like the LFO, it always takes data from the first voice. In Mono mode that works, but in Poly mode that's a problem. So I was thinking that the best solution would be to always take the last note been hold voice # instead of just taking the first voice. That should work best for most situations. Monday I will do some tests on that preset I created and see how it goes, if it improves the situation in Poly mode, as currently the patch only works in Mono mode.

Edit: I'm also aware that a lot of users is waiting for the legacy-preset translation code, which is something I'm about to start doing. But it is a heck load of work, specially since the code I'm using for WS V8 is a bit different, but not impossible to translate to, just a lot of work. :hihi: :borg:

Edit: actually it should be paraphonic, in this case, so it uses the first key pressed, and only changes if that key is released and others are still hold, so it picks the oldest note->voice. This will also affect Wusik 4000 / 8000 code which is nice.

Is there a rough draft of a manual yet? I don't use Wusik Station7, and while the videos are helpful, there is lots I don't yet understand....

Not yet, but you could make some questions and I will try to reply as best as I can. or do more videos! :hihi:

They're simply wav files that some of the presets use to make their sounds.

You do know that this is primarily a sample based instrument, right?

Did you get a virus alert or something? I didn't understand what you mean... still, I did not find anything with AVG scan...

BTW: Anyone done some heavy tests yet? Here it's running rock solid, so I'm happy about it! :hyper:

Not all were wav unfortunately.
Two were of the 'PUP' variant.
Found using Malwarebytes only.
Didn't show under MSE/Defender.

Just downloaded and scanned with Webroot Secure Anywhere. Nothing found.
