Headphone fetish.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

yeah potentially... that would be cool!vurt wrote:australia ftw! then they can host next year
I understand they've been invited to the 60th anniversary because of the huge ESC fan culture in Oz but not having them from here on out would be kind of a dick move imo.

The UK entry sounded like a 1970s euro/novelty pop rip-off...
This was an exceptionally boring line-up – so much forgettable drivel. where were the goofy costumes/all-out camp/ironic acts?? I wonder if that's why the awesome finnish down-syndrome band didn't pass the jury in the newly installed semifinals – too much edge.
It also turns out Australia's appeareance was a one-off. Lighten up a little ESC! Well maybe if they win the next contest would have to be in Oz right? Australia definitely had the most convincing act.

Lol - blocked in Germany yet again.Numanoid wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQETFB4jV_A
And man do I hate the German commentary. He's always talking, talking, talking, talking - and a lot of crap as well. Instead of letting the pictures speak for themselves.
Really pissed me off in recent years.
But I like the new idea of the ESC - they uploaded all videos to YouTube this year around. So if there won't be a DVD/BluRay (which they are really bad at), you can at least see all entries again.
EDIT:
Germany tries the "Spy Theme" route this year? Well, at least it's not such a bad entry like in recent years...
