One of the singers I've recorded some tracks with is getting married in a few weeks, and the idea is to finish at least two more tracks in time for her to play them at the wedding. So I'm thinking... can I surprise her by making a one-off wedding version, like a reggae dubplate, by adding in some clever wedding-related voice sample at some point? Either some short wishes or an inside joke, like "not a snake anymore". Has anybody done anything like that? Got any good ideas?
I also plan on mixing the vocals a bit louder than normal, it's her big day after all.

So she knows youre working on two songs? I would say to complete what was discussed, and then if you still want to make an 'extra' one to go for it (but run it by her before playing it).
You dont want to mess with a womans wedding, not even a small detail.

She does know I'm working on these two songs and wants them finished in time, I'm just thinking of adding a small extra sample to one of them.
