I listened to Whodini, Run DMC and the likes a lot back in the day so this immediately caught my interest

When the track starts I thought, nice groove going, then when the funky bass came it at 0:57 I was going hell yeah.
Also nice unexpected bridge at 2:10.

Production wise also nothing to critisize for me, well done at capturing that retro funky style which fits the vocals great.

Love it also, nice work.

@Breakmixer: I'm thinking about making the track available as free download, so stay tuned!

Btw: even though most synth sounds are from hardware (for example Prophet 08 and Minitaur), the bass is from Diva! Love the sound

Cool, Prophet 08 and Minitaur are in my set-up, I'm also a fan of Whodini(Have many of their 12"s), this was a different take on the usual backing, It worked well, ps their seems to be alot of old school mash-up/remixes getting released and this is on par, if not better than alot of it...look into the Nu-Disco genre at Juno Download, more of this stuff is about...

Can't wait to grab a copy
