Hi,
I'm already using a touchscreen with my MacBook Pro, driven by the commercial touch-base multitouch driver. (They provide rich API functionality)
Any chance I might use multitouch on 1.3 Mac OS X with this setup?

It's also possible to use iPad as an external display on OSX using AirDisplay or Duet for example. Any chance to be able use the table profile on these? When I tested now, iPad still uses a mouse cursor and none of the touch functionality is available even if the profile is set. I assume this is because of the lack of multitouch in OSX and iPad is handled as a regular display?

These apps do not send multitouch events to the display host.
Wonder why they didn't go for TUIO, like Presonus for example. But what do I know, may be they did?
Some more technical details would be fine...

Agreed. My guess is that the Wigs penchant for not relying on 3rd party tech has something to do with it?TabSel wrote:These apps do not send multitouch events to the display host.
