Hi, I have an issue maybe someone can enlighten me on. I disabled my ethernet controller in windows because i dont use it, its an offline pc for music production. Yesterday when i started up my pc and got into windows, it detected the ethernet controller and ask if id like to install drivers for it, even though i already had installed the drivers and disabled the ethernet controller. I cancelled installing the drivers, rebooted and the drivers were back in my driver list but with a red X beside it because I disabled it. Why did windows detect the ethernet controller before that when the drivers were already installed, but disabled? any ideas? |
