Astronomical - A heavily distorted track

A little background about this track:

Some time ago, the Smithsonian Institute made available online a collection of sounds that had been generated using data from radio telescopes that had been used to capture cosmic X Rays. Along with the recordings, there were also some piano interpretations of (some) of the recordings. If memory serves me well, I believe they were also holding a contest on SoundCloud to see what others would come up with. By the time I found the recordings, the contest was done with but I decided to try anyway. I think I picked recording #9. I then brought the file into Ableton, chopped it up, looped, and then recreated the melodies making sure to use a bit of distortion, I added some drums, added another melody, and presto! I still envision a vocal line atop the resulting mayhem but since I don't sing...well, all you get is an instrumental with lots of space for vocals.
