I can get a push 2 right now for around 400 , and a push 1 for 250 really worth getting the 2 in this case ? I mean just in general is the push really solid with bitwig, it worth getting at all or is it to buggy ?

Hi.
Ive got the push-1 here for a year now, and bought it specially for BWS.
And it works great , i cant go back anymore, my workflow is so much faster now.
I DJ and the cliplauncher is great! And use the sequncer when lazy, it gave me so much more fun and other workflow i wouldnt dream about before. Its my "little"workhorse here.
I dont know the feel/build of version2.
You know the videos MOSS made on youtube?

also bought the push 1 (before push 2 came out) just for bitwig - runs fine, on stage as well as in the studio! there are sometimes quirks (that you can get used to), but as far as i read on the support thread they are being looked into.

I decided against the Push 2 because it lacks usb bus power, So you'll need 2 cables running to it to make it work... Unless the device I'm using works as a standalone device, I can't accept needing to power it beyond USB.
My 2c.

yes, it does, which is very handy. however, if there is massive lighting goin on on stage, you might need the included additional power cable to power the LEDs even more. also looks better on video and in a dark club

Push 2 works with usb power too afaik, though the screen and pad colours are supposedly barely visible that way. I was thinking of trading my Push 1 for 2 but ultimately decided against it, precisely because of insufficient usb power and also cause the new screen doesn't really add anything for bitwig as yet.

I'd spend the extra $150 on the push2 if you can. I had the Push1 and...
...The build quality is better. (I didn't think that was possible until I held it.)
...The display is a revelation. The display support in the script is fantastic.
...The integration with Live (if you use it) is phenomenal.
...It's more "future proof" than push 1.
The downside is the USB power. That is required to run the display. Without it, it still works though.
If the $150 is hard to come by, Push1 it is! But I think it's worth the extra dosh if you can swing it.

I grabbed the push two the thing is just sexy and laid out beautiful ! Most import it seems that the work flow will be prime.
I am hoping MOss or BWS puts all chip son the table and really molds this thing to bitwig as best as possible. The things it can do with Live make live that more temping.
Just curious what are some great features Pro & Cons of the push 2 with Bitwig so far ?

I've just started using it. Having the display working is great!
