Just a simple funky spacy electro tune featuring my hardware Akai AX80's wonderful BASS sound.
This has what i consider my trademark space funk sound. A fairly basic 4/4 rock beat, deep distinct AX80 bass, simple dual alternating melodies, a quirky sample here and there and wide open ambient pads.

bass - Akai AX80 hardware synth
pads - KLC M1
left panned ep - shortcircuit
right panned lead - Linplug CRX4
white noise arps - Vanguard
drums - Linplug RMiV
enjoy!

Nice, enjoyed it. Again, it has that soundtrack feel as well...are you thinking about making a career on that?

That intro is killer! Sounds very trippy and I can definitely see it being some kind of video game sound track. 10/10 in originality.

I'm not sure if this one is that soundtrack specific. I would say it's pretty much IDM or for just grooving to.
Nice work!

It's really interesting that you have an actual hardware version of the Akai(I have the soft-synth version, via UVI's bundled collection.)This tune sounds like some 80's-sci-fi-chill out-movie-music...cool!

Some very cool sounds (white noise arp, drums, vocoder voice) although it doesn't develop enough to sustain my interest for 4 minutes. I also think the reverb and stereo width is a bit exaggerated. It would prefer these effects to be less noticeable.

it almost did not get posted, being quite simple and
somewhat boring. A candidate for the "stuff only i'll probably like"
folder. we all have that folder, right?
soundtrack work would be cool, if only top hollywood movie
producers browsed this forum, who knows?

OOh yes the bass is very nice!!!
Everything else adds nicely to it and sounds great after dinner as I relax...
Well done.

I never seem to have much time to listen on here these days, but just picked this one at random. I'm glad I did
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

I loved that bass sound, especially the long sustained notes during the intro. The pads and the CRX4 lead sound great to me too. I think this track has quite a strong JMJ '80s vibe. I enjoyed it.
Good work
