An interesting and entertaining blend of beat and sounds. Artsy EDM maybe or sound track. On little dark side maybe but not without hope.

Very 1990s Warp Records but with a slightly more modern edge at times in those timbres.
An effective slow builder....just enough ongoing development to keep it interesting.
Combinations of timbres is ALL important in this style of IDM and you've got it pretty much spot on for me.
Shades of Leftfield or The Orb.

I am sorta stuck in the very early 90's to mid with regard to electronic music. Around that time I discovered and was introduced to so many good artists (FSOL,Orbital,Leftfield ect...) that I was sold to electronic music forever.

If you're gonna get stuck in an electronic music time warp, then the first half of the 90s is the time to choose! :0)
Me - for the last couple of years I've been trapped for long periods in the late 70s of Tangerine Dream / Vangelis / Jarre etc and I need to escape...at least for a while! :0)

Nice cool track JB!
Great to chill to as I sit down after dinner. Great sounds and nicely put together.
But then the beat becomes urgent... Great combo.
Well done.

This track is good. It gets your attention quite easily and carries on with a very well perceptible sounding combination of soothing synthesizer pads and well blended-in drums. Nothing extraordinarily pushing too much in the front of the dynamics. A smooth listen. Thanks for sharing your music.jethrobull wrote:https://soundcloud.com/jethrobull/diminishing-returns

Pretty insense tune, crisp production also!
With appropriate vocals, this could be a contemporary Skinny Puppy tune.

I liked the slow build and the release at the end. Great atmosphere with a definite '90s sound. The percussion was nicely varied throughout, and the synth sound choices all contributed positively to the overall vibe which managed to be languid and energetic at the same time.
Good work
