Does this synth line come from an arpeggiator?

How to make that sound...

I am low with synths and just wondering if they used an arpeggiator to do the main theme.

Maybe, maybe not.

This is the correct answer. We may as well just shut down the Internet now. :P

What do mean by main theme?

I don't think an arpeggiator has been used in this track.

Anyway, you can replace any arpeggiator just by midi sequencing.

@OP: You know what an arpeggiator does, right? You play a chord but it goes over the individual notes up (and/or) down, usually in 16ths. I don't hear that happening anywhere

Background info on how this song was recorded is available on WikiPedia!

Coincidentally, point blank studios put out a video on youtube deconstructing Blue Monday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-FRgsmMtAQ

Thanks. Interesting to see how much was sampled from others in this song.
