So.. I made a few artist websites..
Then I made a website that makes artist websites..
Currently content can be embedded from SoundCloud, Bandcamp and/or YouTube.
There are simple yet extensive options for graphics and colors and text.

Sitemaker creations can now be shared with the blue "Share the created page" button.
example EatMeIMCloud.htm
example EatMeCloud.htm
You can save your website in the http://eatme.pro/sitemaker as .htm file with the green Create the webpage button.
You need a (to $ or free) hosting package and a domain name (make sure: easy spelling) to put your site online.
To place your file on your site, use the "default document name" like index.htm or default.htm
You can also set the same file as 404/error page, it will show the website on any 404 visitors.
I hope this can help you in creating your online presence. Suggestions are welcome.
*Insight Tip: More information on editing HTML can be found on http://w3schools.com/.

I added a bumper to this topic to describe 10 Reasons to Use Sitemaker
- it makes your artist website
- it gives a single file
- it is free
- the website displays no notification of my sitemaker
- you can add your soundcloud music in a player
- you can use a bandcamp embedded player
- you can use a youtube video to embed
- there are 4 menu sections in the website which give a fading page effect
- you can edit the sites text by searching and editing HTML in a text editor (WordPad, TextEdit)
- it is fast and easy to set up
