Here is the original wip and the one below that is the revised version. The major changes are towards the end of the track. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

It sounds like you’re on the right track. I assume this is EDM so maybe it could use a little more punch. The quiet parts are nice but maybe they should be shortened a little to keep momentum. Over all it seems a little too safe as it does sound kind of like a tutorial effort. Try experimenting and take some chances to express yourself.

You have good elements, my suggestion is to do new arrangement, just try to work with what you got, build an story, for example I would start with that arp and slowly teasing with repeating single pattern elements (instead of whole progression) on drum beat and building expectation, making it more hypnotic, occasional one shot note from different leads, than giving the taste of progression in breakdown and than dropping the whole thing you did almost in the beginning.

Take your time, eat your candy slowly.

I would either shorten the breakdown, or perhaps lose one of them. I feel that they are detracting from the flow of the song, which might be important if you are hoping to have this played in clubs. I thought that the organ-style bass was a great choice.

Good work :)

Thanks! Any good examples of the pattern building?

I'll mess around with the breakdowns. I might have the first part play the first time around and the second part the second time around.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm just afraid if I employ those techniques that it'll stretch out my song a bit too long. I'll give it a try anyways.

It's called progressive for a reason, also It's club music, it's supposed to be longer, people expect that on the floor, they have all the time in the world to enjoy in the moment and get into the story.

It's been a while but I'm back in the game now. I've recently been going back to older tracks that I was working and making some changes here and there.
