Not enough clarity, I think you're missing sidechain on synths.

Very good sounds and arrangement though, doesn't sound like Sylenth1 at all! Reminds me very much of Airwave and friends style.

This is really cool, took me on a sonic adventure for sure :)

There were some frequency overloads on the mix, nothing too crazy, but some sounds were bleeding just a little imo. In some cases that is a good thing, gels the synths together, but on low end it creates a touch of muddiness. Again, it's nothing major.

All in all, I enjoyed it and gave it a like on SC :)

Thanks, I agree, its a bit muddy. But I dont care that much about mix. Feel, uniqueness and initiation of altered state of consciousness is for me much more important than form.

Yes, somehow reminds me about Airwave but not similar enough to be called non-original or derivative. I don't think the mix is muddy more than needed, imo the track sounds just right, more sharp/clean mix could ruin the atmosphere.

Good job, I really enjoyed the track!

Hmm, thats what I feel... when I clean everything, it become completly diferent thing. But sometimes I like more clean and crispy sound, it depends.

I checked Airwave, but to me it sounds very diferent. Very clean and well produced prog/psy trance. Completely diferent level of production quality. My music is much more amateurish and slow-paced psychedelic ambitrance. But maybe there is some kind of similar vibe that I cannot percieve from my point of view.

Yes, Airwave typically makes more uptempo music, but there is something similar in the the overall mood, maybe because of lush, multilayered production, the use of reverbs/delays, sounds with long "tails" etc.

I wouldn't worry that much about comparing the production quality, he has been doing this for years. Everyone has to start somewhere and your production is not that bad at all.

I think the composition and sound pallet is great. The bass groove could probably use some variations though. Also try inserting momentary breaks here and there. Overall enjoyed!

this.

it is an art arranging sounds to come in and out.....
not just sounding off in a loop the entire song.

also all sounds playing loud at once + heavy brickwall limiting will
guarantee a blurred muddy mix :scared:

Thank You for your comment. Are you planning to write any books on that topic ? Maybe your technique LAYZERSOUND will help us to learn how to properly mix.
