I don't do that complicated effects chains often, because I've found that if the source sound is pristine, then the more processing there is, the more generally it makes the source lose energy. So the less effects applied, the more pristine result.
However, my most usual combination is:
Reason's The Echo or RV-7
with post and/or pre equalization
and finalized by a "thick compressor" (e.g. TDR Kotelnikov)
and Ozone 7 Exciter
This chain I use very often because it allows for a wide range of tones that still retain clarity. Using an Echo or a Reverb doesn't mean that the sound necessarily has to result echoey or reverbey. Using very short times and automation allows one to produce sounds that are non-reverbant.
