Very beautiful and also a touch melancholy. Unashamedly electronic in the best possible way. Liking the games with the drums a lot too!

Great track. Enjoying all the different parts. Has a beautiful feel to it! It's a bit playful with an interesting undercurrent.
Enjoying the drums as well...
Well done!

Thank you both. The flam stylye drums on the second half where more of a happy accident as I clicked on the wrong loop in StylusRMX. I liked the sound of it and just tweaked it a touch.

Don't you love it when that happens!

Absolutely, accidents sometimes make the creative juices flow and take a track somewhere it was not intended to go.

Oh, for me it's the opposite. The accidents take the track where it is intended to go. The track knows best!

Love the track from start to finish.
Out of interest how did you mix your high pitch chimes?
I'm using chimes in my current project and am looking for a sparkly shine that is transparent and melts in a pretty wash of sound, much like you have achieved here.
I'm using reverb (obviously) but also a touch of chorus or very tight delay to mirror the source on the side channels.

Thanks layzer

@FlyingNoodle - All I have on the mixbus is an eq to roll of the top end with a cut at 300hz as nothing below this is really heard or felt. Looking at the actual patch I used there is just delay and reverb.

The sparkly shine may well be coming from a custom patch I created using my upright piano.
