Are there any differences in these? It might sound like a silly question but in the past there have been some quite marked differences in the magware releases.

Thorn Beat is monophonic, but has most (all?) features of the full version. Thorn CM is 16-voices polyphonic, but is a bit cut down in features.

Last issue i see is from june and is 4.99 in zinio,if i remember correct this is standard price of digital copy,i'v got 5-6 on this price but don't remember what digital store they are from...anyway will find it
