It looks like Tim Exile has been working on something new. Sounds quite exciting so far.

all i heard was him saying hes working on a thing called endlesss. i have absolutely no idea from that video what it is.
So I'm guessing from that it's a performance based music appAbout Endlesss

Story
Endlesss was founded in 2017 by musician and technologist Tim Exile. After learning to play the violin as a kid Tim fell in love with the sound world of electronic music but missed the performative nature of playing the violin. Propelled by this he went on to develop his own instrument for performing electronic music alongside his career as a recording artist. This inspired him to bring together a group of talented friends from his network in the music and tech industries to found Endlesss.

I'm pretty dubious about the whole thing, but I guess we'll see.
My favorite part though was the email telling me "You've been added to the Endlesss waiting list." Guess I won't hold my breath then.

I hope it will not be a "cloud" app with online samples and monthly subscription etc...

I think it will be exactly that plus swapping function for every participant‘s input (unique selling point preposition: you are consumer and producer at the same spot). There are Investors named, they wanna have a return...Julien Unison wrote:I hope it will not be a "cloud" app with online samples and monthly subscription etc...

Can't we forget about "it" and enjoy the process without Endlesss? Yes, we can. We MUST forget about many-many things to enjoy the process. Endlesss isn't an exception.
Sorry, he is trying to tell us about nothinggg.

Yeah. A revision of his "Flow Machine". So he's selling the core of his live performance instrument/system.shonky wrote:So I'm guessing from that it's a performance based music app
I would guess it will be something along the lines of a semi-modular suitcase type system; so it will have some form of sequencer, sampler, effects and such. I would further guess that it will somehow splice a lot of the work he has already published with Native Instruments.

Woulda got me hype 10 years ago but I just dont see it like that now. Sounds like a trap for newbies.
