Im running a Live card and C-base.Obviously i run C-base at 48 000 due to the live.
Now my question is:Should i use 48 000 k samples or is it ok to run 44 000 when using RM 2 or any other sample player for that matter. Just thought that using complex samler setup with loads of notes at 44000 could stress the cpu. Bluelight |

Hello Bluelight,
for RM 2 its ok to run samples at whatever samplerate they were recorded, it simply makes no difference (except the resampling always reduces the quality of the sample very, very slightly). For RM III it would make a difference because RM III is a bit more CPU efficient if the samplerate of the sample exactly matches the samplerate of the used audio card. My advice: don't care about it
