Ultimately, xoxos - if you want to make money out of it, then charge for it. If you're not doing it to make money, then don't tell people you expect them to pay.

Are you doing this to make money? Maybe you could answer that honestly and give us some insight into your motives?

I've had maybe half a dozen donations in the years I've been making plugins. Every one of them was much appreciated and encouraging to me.
