it comes every month with a COmputerMusic magazine.
I believe for someone to send it to you w/o purchasing it would violate the distrubution agreement, but someone might be able to purchase a mag for you:

If they've bought one every month for the last 3 months, then they could just ship send you a cd. Or you could order one.

Are they available near you?

Well, it depends where you are.
Here in the US, it can be found at most major magazine places:
Borders,
barnes&Noble
Tower records/books

In Canada, same lot as above,
Chapters

on line @
http://www.computermusic.co.uk/main.asp

In the US, the mag is imported and costs ~15$
Every month included free are;
sr-202
ds-404 - sampler made by Muon
cm505 - drum synth made by LinPLug
cm303 - 303 bassline by Muon
OhmmyGod - filter by Ohmboyz
CM101 -subtractive/analogue synth,
+ a few demos.

Worth buying at least once.

You can give him the plugin with the magazine, I believe. The only situation not permitted is to give the plug to him, say through e-mail, but keep the disk and the mag for yourself.

If you wanted to just send him the disk, you could Smile

ah ok ourobouros, all's clear now. Smile

I do have some repeated numbers of the mag (since I started buying them in English but then changed to Spanish) but i doubt it will be cheaper for u, probably better to buy it yourself I guess.

It's part of the CM studio on every CD (or DVD with the last 2 issues). You also get CM-101 (va monosynth), CM-303 (guess what? a 303 emulator...), DS-404 (sampler), CM-505 (drumsynth written by linplug), OhMyGod (a combfilter/distortion effect) and few more things I can't be arsed to check!

There all quite good, definately worth the price of the magazine.

Sr-202 is a drum machine.

I think you mean DS-404

I thought the same, but it seems some people call it a 'drum sampler'. Whatever, the given information applies both to SR-202 and DS-404.
