Hi,
Just installed the demo. I haven't tried them all, some 'worked' eg, Chamberverb, Cyclotron, Phaseshifter, Bassline, Analog Drums. The output was constantly distorted, (and I don't mean the demo noise) the ones that loaded are completely unusable for me, the others crashed FLS to desktop. ---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever. |

Does Fruity Loops natively support VST now? or is it still through an adaptor? I know that on the mac side, Pluggo runs a shell for AU support, works pretty well but a few pluggo plug ins don't pass AU validation...
Too bad to hear that it's not working, I'm a HUGE fan of Pluggo, in fact back when Logic was PC and I first switched to it, I almost got a PC, but decided not to because Pluggo wasn't out for PC. |

Someone at the FL-Board posted that you
have to activate "Use fixed size buffers" on the FL wrapper works fine now Last edited by mbb on Sat Jan 29, 2005 1:08 am; edited 1 time in total |

Shit, I just wrote a really long post here then the power momentarily died I'll reduce it to the essential bits... not an FL user... installed demo... thought it was going to be shit... wasn't shit... nearly bought it... PACE... OIC. edit: Ok, I'll expand a bit The main thing was, from reading the descriptions of each plug on the site when it was Mac only, I thought for each one "this has been done better". On actually using it however, even the traditional stuff like distortions sound like nothing else. That's before you even get to the weird filter/granular stuff |

Yes, I did.. Anyway, Quote: works fine now
If it sounds very cool, it crashes FLS quite often.. As someone replied in the FL board, MAX-MSP was very unstable on windows at first, but C74 rapidly fixed the problems... Any confirmations on this ? (I don't use MAX) |

Cheers! Sorry to hear about the crashing. Let us know if it's something you can reproduce and we'll try and get it fixed.... Fruity Loops requires fixed buffers for Pluggo - as was mentioned earlier This is in the FAQ... After inserting a Pluggo effect, click the arrow to open the drop down menu below the Plug UI Caption (title bar) and enable the "Use fixed size buffers" option. In Fruityloops Studio, you need to enable this each time you insert a Pluggo plug-in. We are working on ways to "eliminate this dependency." -Andrew Windows support guy at C74 ( winsupport at cycling74 dot com ) |

So what´s with that distorted noise most of the synths are making? The FX I´ve tried seem ok. I get this in both Cubase SX 2.2.0.39 and Orion Platinum 5.8. Running on: Athlon XP 3000+ Epox 8RDA+ 1GB DDR PC2700 EMU 1212m |

Running on: Athlon XP 3000+ Epox 8RDA+ 1GB DDR PC2700 EMU 1212m It's not the noise burst you get every minute is it? That's another thing I wrote in my post before the power died. Even the demo restriction bursts of noise are unusually funky. Ner-ner-nermer-ner ner-ner-nermer-mer |

Nope, it´s not a noise burst... it´s constant. |

I can confirm this distortion (Samplitude Pro V8 and FL-Studio). All Synths with a Filter produce distortion. Changing Filter-Values changes the distortion. |
