Hi Abi,
The TSCY X version is ready. I guess it will be released soon. The X version has more presets than the Emulator CD-ROM. Also the presets are checked and optimize for use in the Emulator-X. The quality of the Emulator-X is really awesome. Don't forget to look also into the BeatGarden X. The percussion midi-files (riffs) which are downloadable on my homepage can be used in BeatGarden X as well. More beats for the BeatGarden are in development (SuperBeats). Later, Rob |

sounds really interesting. but will there be a kind of an "upgrade" for TSCY user´s to TSCY X? I would love to get my hands on new presets for these nice samples, but wouldn´t like to pay twice for the same samples...but i would be willing to pay for your great programming skills!!
is there a way to use the additional presets on your homepage for the TSCY ROM with the EmulatorX? |

Hi Abi,
Do you have the ROM? The advantage of the ROM is the fact that it has the arp presets. I don't know yet if it is possible to ad additional presets to the TSCY X. If that is possible it would be great. OF course I do get myself a copy of this set and will look into it. The additional preset of the TSCY ROM are already inside the TSCY X. And a few extras. Hi Rob,
would it work with Proteus X too? I was impatient and got the original EOS CD-ROM; it converted to EXB fine with the E-MU translator. However I was wondering if you used the (DSP) effects of Emulator X. When you wrote ROM below did you mean an actual ROM board or the EOS CD-ROM? (I have never worked with the HW versions.) |

I have a MP7 with the beat garden ROM. I really like because it also has the ethnic percussion stuff as well as very nice ambient pads( my style)
Glad to see this being expanded to the X style Just my 2c TC ---- *TC* Camel Audio plugins (vst/au) Sound Design & Support AlgoMusic M42|M51| Tims Atari MIDI World |

Hi Cone,
Yes I mean the ROM boards of TSCY. This week I will try the CD-ROM, to see how it sounds. So will report later, Rob |

hey rob!
what i would like to know is if there was any sample material added to the TSCY X. As I own the EOS CD ROM, there´s no need for me to get it if there are no new samples... |

Hi Abi,
The sample material has not been updated/changed. Note that most sounds are made using the EOS synth engine. So the amount of preset, is the big difference. Except for the drum samples, the raw samples/waveforms are not interesting to have. They do come alive using the EOS synth engine. Offtopic: So converting the TSCY CD-ROM into any other format ends up in "distaster" for sure! This is also written at the back of the CD-ROM. That this CD-ROM does work only at EOS samples. A few years ago I saw a program that had as example my CD-ROM for converting sounds into other formats Of course... the banks did not sound as they should do. Later, Rob |

Hi,
The Emulator-X does load very well the TSCY CD-ROM! Very nice I must say. It has different presets than the TSCY X. When I look at the price of the TSCY-X it is worth to have it next to the TSCY CD-ROM. It is a compact bank with lots of usefull presets and together with the BeatGarden X it is in fact the Orbit-3 (but without SuperBeats and Arpeggiator). The sound btw of the Emulator-X is awesome. |
