I do not think SynthMaker is transferable. But with it available as part of FL Studio, & a Lite/Personal version downloadable from their site, I don't think this is too much too worry about. |

that will probably change in the future but for now all those license agreements are illegal in the EU What are your sources spacey?? I know it is an old post but thought i should help out with the sources (for computer software anyway...) http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/05/08/selling_oem_windows_ copies_you/ The 1991 legislation referred to i the article has since been updated on 23 April 2009 by "DIRECTIVE 2009/24/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL" however, the new directive still has the wording referred to in the article. |

Contacted NI. Transpires and I was not ever aware of this till now (probably not a surprise to some), that NIs licenses cannot be transferred if they were purchased download. If it's a retail boxed product fine.
Be warned. Personally I won't buy any individual addons/pligins from them and only their Komplete upgrades. it appears that's the way they prefer to do business. Basically I now have over £300 of software duplicated in Komplete8Ultimate that I can not sell and have no use for. Very bad business as I do not recall ever reading or hearing about this from Natyive Instruments. Grrr!!!! Shame on NI...rip off on downloads. Shame as uptil now they 'were' one of my favourite DEVS. |

Absolutely. Of course, you'll have to ship the box |

I was interested in selling slate trigger. Had no luck searching for definitive license transfer info. I messaged support and they replied. Slate charge $30 dollars themselves on top of the $25 dollar ilok fee. It ended up not being worth messing with for me but if someone is googling for the answer mabey this helps. |

I just sent their support an email a couple of days ago, because I wanted to sell my SSD Drums 4 EX.
Support told me that Slate DO NOT allow license transfers, but they do offer refunds. (At least in my case, don't know what you have to do to qualify or if it's just a general policy.) But as I bought it via AudioMIDI, I'm not getting the money back from Slate, but I have to contact AudioMIDI about the refund, and when that's done, then contact Slate about the license. (Whatever that means.) But in any way, I would advise you to contact their support. Their individual answer to your transfer/refund is much more authentic than mine. ---- TINY METAL IMPACT - UPDATE Mar 1st '13 - available for Kontakt 4.2+ I guess one could call lead poisoning an ironic death. |

Ssd drums is sold on a different site. The version 3 drums that i bought is kontakt library licensed with ni service center. All of those are nfr. The plugins on slate digital are the ilok bound ones like Trigger that i mentioned in the previous post. Those are the $30 plus $25 transfers, not to cause confusion. I guess ssd4 doesnt use kontakt anymore? |

Nope, you're right. SSD 4 is now a self-contained VSTi/AUi, no more Kontakt.
Hm, and you're right again. Slate Drums, Slate Digital, Slate this-and-that ... kind of hard to keep them apart. ---- TINY METAL IMPACT - UPDATE Mar 1st '13 - available for Kontakt 4.2+ I guess one could call lead poisoning an ironic death. |
