CS-80R is designed to emulate the "juiciness, funkiness and felinity" of the Yamaha CS- series of polyphonic analog synths. The CS-80R is not intended to be an exhaustive virtual reconstruction of the CS-80 - it is just as much influenced by the rougher sounds of the CS-60 and GX-1, and has a different panel design. Features: Two lines per voice, each with osc, high and low filter, PWM, pan mixable sine, and modulation oscillator. Two extended envelope generators shared by both lines. Sub-oscillator. Ring modulator. Velocity, aftertouch, foot pedal control. Different voicing and sus... [more]

Over half a century ago, Oskar Sala created the Mixturtrautonium by adding his Sub-Harmonic Synthesis method to the even older electronic instrument, the Trautonium. Rick Jelliffe's Neumixturtrautonium brings a modern slant to Sub-Harmonic Synthesis, with its range of tones from strings, choirs and reed instruments to bells and struck sounds. The Neumixturtrautonium's Sub-Harmonic Synthesis uses multiple sawtooth oscillators, authentically shaped to emulate valve waveforms, each at a relative frequency that is an integer count of a high frequency master. Each oscillator is then put through a ... [more]

Ricko-3A is described as "a homage to discrete-component analog synths of the 70s, in particular Roland's idiosyncratic SH-3A".It features five mixable partials at octave intervals with adjustable waveshape and phase, sample-and-hold, continuously variable-strength filter, flanger and LFO modulation of pitch, filter, level and pan. It is well-tempered, with an adjustable root key. It can also simulate synths such as Roland SH-1000, SH-2000, SH-7 and Jupiter 4's four-note polyphony, as well as ARP-ish and Minimoog-ish sounds. For its sound, think early Dr Who, early Human League, and early pipe ...
