Excellent!

Lets start:

UI: basic, but it works! A baby could use it! Its just a knob! However, I would've wished it had a more compact UI, something tiny so you could just put it in a corner and tweak sometimes. That would be cool. But this definitely works!

Sound: Great! Especially for a free instrument, this has a nice sound, thickens up the track a lot, and doesn't cause distortion! Its very nice!

Features: It does what it was designed for: Master Limiting... AND MORE! Run it through a drum track or dynamic instrument, and it DOES help with volume levels, by smoothing out peaks and adding some warmth! That's where the "Classic" in "Classic Master Limiter" comes in!

Documentation: Its a knob. The info on this site is fine. However, inside the zip is a PDF with more info! Lots of info, tips, release notes, and contact info are all there, making it easy to figure out!

Presets: Considering its a single knob, you'd think it wouldn't have presets? But it actually DOES come with 3 presets to pick from! I mean, that's not even needed! But its nice, to see what the designers recommend level-wise!

Customer Support: I've never had problems with it, but I see contact info all over, so I bet it is good.

VFM: Its free! What more could you want?

Stability: No problems here! Ran fine in FL7, and FL8, no issues whatsoever!

Overall: Just like the other effects in the series, its a quality plugin! A joy to use, and free to top it off! I might have even paid a small amount for a single download of the whole pack. All of them are good, but this one stands out.

There are lots of free filters, phasers, flangers, etc. out there, but this is the first, and ONLY (as far as I know) free master limiter! Check it out!

This is a really nice limiter, simple and effective. The sound is pretty clean, and even when pushed quite hard there is no pumping and clarity of sound remains high.

The download is tiny and the plug is free, so there really is no good reason not to try it ;)

My only quibble is that the UI whilst concise and functional, is a little dull and the text isn't so easy on the eyes. With only one control to play with though, even this is a really a complaint.
