The purpose of Nokia Audio Suite is to simulate the playback of MIDI and audio files on target devices. The Suite includes plug-ins, which are used with professional MIDI sequencer programs that support Virtual Studio Technology instruments (VSTi).

Nokia SP-MIDI Creator is a plug-in for converting standard MIDI files into Scalable Polyphony MIDI (SP-MIDI). Since various devices have different limits on the maximum number of simultaneous sounds they can play, they may not be able to play all the instruments used in a particular MIDI song. This plug-in can be used to configure a MIDI file by setting priorities for the instruments so that the song will sound as good as possible on various devices.

The Auralisation tool plug-in simulates the acoustics and digital signal processing of target devices when reproduced through a high-quality loudspeaker or headphone. The plug-in can be used as an effect during the playback of audio and MIDI files.
