Audiofront releases MIDI Expression Quattro and updates MIDI Expression Control to Version 2.1
Audiofront has released the MIDI Expression Quattro and updated MIDI Expression Control to Version 2.1.
MIDI Expression and MIDI Expression Quattro are compact USB pedal interfaces that provide hands free control of virtual instruments and DAW. They include features such as pedal sensing technology, adjustable response curves, and a graphical configuration editor.
New Features / Improvements in version 2.1:
- Added Note Mode for expressing pedals and hihat controllers.
- Firmware updater is integrated into the control application.
- Improved smoothing function.
- Various cosmetic improvements and fixes.
Note Mode
Note mode is a new feature that allows expression pedals and hihat controllers to trigger velocity sensitive MIDI notes. Follow the link below for a video demonstration of the feature along with a tutorial.
Integrated Firmware Updater
Updating the MIDI Expression is now easier. There is no longer any need to download and install firmware updates. Just run the Control Application and firmware is updated with a single click.
