MusiKernel Team has announced the 15.08 release of MusiKernel, a music production solution for Linux and Windows featuring a suite of integrated hosts and plugins.

All:
- Various improvements to the project recovery dialog.
- Automatically create a project restore point every time the project is opened.
- Various minor fixes and improvements.
Windows:
- Fix the folder browser widget's "Up" button's context menu not showing when right-clicked.
Linux:
- Fix particular KDE configurations breaking random menu actions.
Plugins:
- Plugins are now organized by category sub-menus instead of a single list.
- The plugin API has been updated to enable supporting advanced MIDI event manipulation in real time.
- Euphoria: Fix the velocity of transient notes affecting the volume of sustained notes if they used the same sample.
- Euphoria: Fix strange looking Qt-CSS theme on the "Import SFZ..." dialog.
- Close plugin windows automatically if the plugin was removed from the track.
DAW-Next:
- MIDI file import (drag and drop MIDI files from the file browser).
- Fix a potential crash in situations where copying audio items caused one or more to be de-duplicated.
- Fix a crash involving looping playback when the looped region contained tempo and/or time-signature changes (and fix a few related bugs).
- Item Editor: Ensure that MIDI events aren't created after end of an item (fixes a bug where plugins never receive those events).
- Piano Roll Editor: Fix some quirky behavior when editing note velocity.
