d16 group has announced the latest addition to its SilverLine effects family - Redoptor.

Redoptor is a Vintage Tube Distortion emulator based on typical guitar tube amplifiers. Unlike regular guitar amps, Redoptor has an adjustable preamp characteristic and more control over the tube distortion. It also contains a fully controllable 4-band parametric equaliser.

Pricing & Availability

Priced at €35, Redoptor is expected to be released by the end of December for Windows and Mac OS X in VST and AU plug-in formats. A €29 preorder offer for Redoptor should start shortly.
