Best Service has announced the release of World Percussion Compact (by Evolution Series), the condensed version of the next generation World Percussion virtual instrument launched earlier this year. It has an MSRP of $249.

World Percussion Compact is designed to satisfy the elite film, TV, game composers and producers. It is a powerful and easy-to-use sample library using state-of-the-art equipment, a world-class scoring stage, and a treasure trove of beautiful instruments. It features sounds from Africa, Asia, Middle East, and South America. It also offers 2 user controllable microphone positions, extensive array of velocities and round robin, and hundreds of unique MIDI grooves.
