Samplephonics releases World Percussion Soundtrack for Kontakt

27th February 2012

Samplephonics has released World Percussion Soundtrack, an interactive sample pack, containing percussion loops played by legendary percussionist Paul Clarvis, presented in a Kontakt Instrument with custom GUI.

The styles include dramatic orchestral percussion loops and various ethnic percussion grooves from around the world. There are 37 grooves in total, each containing 4-10 separate stem loops and corresponding endings.

All the loops stems are available to be played separately or as one complete groove, and contain ending variations for natural phrase ends.

Features such as 'Tempo Sync' and 'Input Quantize' allow you to sync the loops easily with your DAW, as well as bring in new loop stems or loop variations from the grooves current loop position, which is determined by the first note that is played. For example, if you hold a bongo loop down for 2 bars and bring in a shaker loop on the 2nd bar, the shaker loop will begin playing the loop 2 bars in.

The mixer allows you to change the balance of the percussion loops and add effects such as convolution reverb, compression, saturation, transient shaping and change mic position effects.

Price: £34.70.
