Mercury is a comprehensive traditional full English Boy's Choir library for Kontakt. This full 30-voice children's choral ensemble features 42 staccatos and 42 sustaining marcatos with 4+ round robin, 18 tempo-syncing Latin poly-syllabic sustains with real-time phrase-synchronous polyphonic legato, unique poly-staccatos, dynamic true legato vowels with real-time speed control from fluid portamento to tight, drone and whispering chants, trills, sweeps, swells and other choral effects. It also features a pair of soloists (soprano/younger and alto/older), each with a range of poly-syllabic phrases, staccatos and true-legato vowel sustain.

Mercury also features version 3 of Soundiron's Phrase Builder with marcato-staccato syllable switching and multi-sequence pattern creation, saving and instant recall, all with live key-switch control. It also includes a new Word Master, with a simple graphical interface that allows quick selection from dozens of sustaining marcato words and staccato syllables, with independent multi-layer selection and blending, plus legato, key-switching and other features.

The library was captured in the same recording hall as the Mars Men's and Venus Women's Symphonic Choirs (Olympus), with matching close and hall mic positions. Mercury includes newly integrated custom mic distance mixing into every preset with optional mic purge/load controls. Conducted by Robert Geary of Olympus/Requiem/Volti and SF Choral Society and performed by the Pacific Boychoir (ages 8-13), this library has been specifically crafted for professional scoring and post production but has user-friendly programming and playability designed to fit most workflows.

This library is officially scheduled for release on January 15th, 2013 and is currently available at a discounted pre-order price. More details, demos, screenshots coming soon.

Note: The full retail version of Kontakt 4 or later is required to use the .nki instrument program presets included in this library. The free Kontakt "Player" can only load this instrument in demo mode for 15 minutes. An upgrade to the full version of Kontakt is required to remove this restriction.
