Granny Piano Reason ReFill Edition ($49)

This unique upright piano instrument multi-sample library captures a classic beat-up, worn-down, rickety upright piano. With a watery and faded tone, wobbly hammers and a few broken strings.

Based on the Old Busted Granny Piano library for Kontakt, it includes a variety of Combinator patches with custom front panel controls to reshape the action and tone, with note attack to simulate pad-like sounds, note release, release sample volume and the volume of the pedal sound effect that plays when using the sustain pedal. It also includes reverb effects and a special "Grahammy" mode that simulates the piano recorded on an old phonograph, complete with vinyl record pops. There is also a selection of sustaining ambient pads and evolving drones derived from the source.
