Gospel Musicians releases MKSensation - MKS-20 and 80s Digital Piano library for Kontakt Player

Gospel Musicians has released MKSensation, an MKS-20 Digital Piano emulation with additional 80s piano sounds for live performance for Kontakt Player.

The intention of MKSensation is to bring back the sound of the 80s by emulating the classic MKS-20 piano module. The MKS-20 module produced its sounds using Roland's SAS (Structured-Adaptive-Synthesis). This technology was used to answer the challenge of creating an expressive digital piano sound without relying on samples. Another aspect of the analogue digital piano module was that it contained analogue sounding effects that made the EP sounds very warm and rich. Gospel Musicians sampled the EPs with those effects with the intention to keep the integrity and realism of the module.

In addition to the MKS-20 sounds, they have also included some important 80s sounds and patches to make it a complete layered "Player's EP."

MKSensation costs $99.99 and is available in Stand-alone and VST, AU and RTAS instrument plug-in formats for Windows and Mac OS X via the free Kontakt Player from Native Instruments.
