Impact Soundworks releases Forest Frame Drums for Kontakt

Impact Soundworks has released their authentic collection of hand-crafted frame percussion Forest Frame Drums. The library features three deep-sampled traditional instruments with a wide variety of articulations, programmed for Native Instruments Kontakt 4 and above.

Forest Frame Drums is designed to support both traditional playing styles and modern, 'epic' scoring as it was recorded close with natural ambiance. The included script and UI allows for easy tone shaping, adding effects, tweaking reverb with custom impulse responses, and creating / customizing ensembles.

The three drums - Forest Drum, Deep Drum, and Small Drum - each have a different pitch and tone, ranging from splashy (Forest Drum) to deep, earthy and warm (Deep Drum) and higher pitched (Small Drum). There are nearly 40 articulations between the three drums, such as fingertip and palm strikes, center and rim hits, mallets, sticks, slaps, mutes, and more.

Forest Frame Drums comprises over 2,000 WAV samples that are open for editing and further customization. Each articulation has up to 15x round robin (RR) variations and 6x velocities (dynamic levels).
