SoundToys updates Audio Units with OS X Mavericks Support and releases AAX Native 64-bit plug-ins for Mac

SoundToys has released free updates that give full support with Audio Units on Mac OS X Mavericks and AAX Native 64-bit plug-in support for OS X 10.8.3.

Audio Units with Mavericks Support

This release affects all SoundToys real-time native plug-ins, is free for all registered users, and will be included with all new purchases.

This update features Mavericks compatible Audio Units versions for the native SoundToys Effects plug-in line (v4.3.1), as well as the full Boutique Series (v1.3.1), and all forthcoming plug-ins. Compatible hosts on Mavericks include Logic, Live, and Digital Performer.

"We are glad to be able to get this out quickly for our Audio Units customers" says Mitch Thomas of SoundToys, "and we'll be staying on top of OS 10.9 as more hosts release official support."

Speed is a non-realtime plug-in for the Pitch & Time Machine in Logic only, and is still in development. No other Audio Unit hosts support this type of plug-in at this time.

AAX Native 64-bit plug-ins for Mac

SoundToys has also added support for the AAX Native 64-bit plug-in format for Mac OS X. This new release adds full support for the SoundToys product line in Avid's Pro Tools 11 on Mac for all SoundToys real-time native plug-ins. This is a free update for all registered users and is included with all new purchases.

This update gives AAX 64-bit support to the native SoundToys Effects plug-in line: Decapitator, EchoBoy, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, PanMan, Crystallizer, and Tremolator, as well as the full SoundToys Boutique Series: Radiator and Little Radiator, Devil-Loc and Devil-Loc Deluxe, Little MicroShift and all forthcoming plug-ins. Effects plug-ins are updated to v4.3.1 and Boutique plug-ins are updated to v1.3.1 with this release.

Windows Native AAX 64-bit plug-ins are in development, and will be available soon. Speed is a non-realtime plug-in for Avid's AudioSuite processing, and is also still in development.

Note: Avid has not yet certified OS 10.9 Mavericks, so this release covers only OS 10.8.3 Mountain Lion.
