Detunized has announced the release of Around Bridges and 2konkret, two new sample packs both available in Live Pack and Universal WAV formats. They cost €9.00 each.
2konkret is the second instalment of a series of otherworldly textures, transitions, impulses and ambiences that have their origin in our daily surroundings.
2konkret Live Pack delivers 104 Instrument Racks that are specifically designed around a variety of found sounds as a starting point for further explorations. If it's a windmill and its associated transformer station that delivered a fascinating duet of hum and phasing sounds, or a barrow loaded with bricks as an interesting starting point for the creation of impacts or low end drones. Then there's the sound of a heater core filled with water and a little too much air, several body noises, animal sounds, machines and engines just to name a few.
The library is organized into 14 categories: Alarm / Animal / Body / Diginoise / Garden / Heater / Impacts / Tuned Keys / Machines / Passes / Spikes / Synked / Textures / Weird.
2konkret Universal WAV library contains 119 sounds recorded in the field and is organized into 41 categories. Each sound comes with dedicated loop points and loads immediately into any DAW or sample editing app.
Around Bridges features the inner sounds of bridges. The steel components of a bridge transmit vibrations caused by passing cars or pedestrians in a fascinating manner. Around Bridges contains the sounds of excited beam barriers, noise barriers, expansion gaps and a lot more steel components that bridges are made of. Also included are takes of footsteps, rain and wind - ordinary noises that get a certain magic when recorded on a handrail. To round up this library several high quality AB-stereo ambiences of the acoustical surroundings of bridges are included.
Around Bridges Live Pack contains 70 takes that are accessible as Instrument Racks, as Clips or directly from a well structured Live Set.
Around Bridges Universal WAV library contains 70 takes with loop points that are organised into 10 categories: Ambience Below / Ambience Top / Beam Barriers / Expansion Gaps / Footsteps Handrails / Noise Barriers / Rain / Steel Structures / Wind.
