SonicXTC has released CompX-Wave, a VST compressor effect for Windows.

CompX-Wave is a modern-day vintage styled sculpting compressor ideally suited for modern electronic music. It works best for sculpting the sound of drums, bass, and synthesizers when recording individual tracks. However, CompX-Wave can also add a particular sound or vibe to an entire mix. CompX-Wave is not designed to be a non-intrusive compressor. CompX-Wave will add some color, distortion, clipping, movement or other artifacts to the signal even at minimal settings. If you want crystal clear or transparent compression, look elsewhere.
