Xenos Soundworks releases 'Apocalyptic Visions' for Massive

20th March 2014

Xenos Soundworks has released Apocalyptic Visions for Native Instruments Massive.

Apocalyptic Visions brings you more disturbing pads, forboding soundscapes and creepy sound effects. Xenos Soundworks also took the liberty of expanding this collection with semi-real fantasy musical instruments, dark dubstep basses and more, to give you an even better experience.

Apocalyptic Visions is aimed at producers of horror and sci-fi soundtracks, plus those who produce a wide variety of other genres: dark ambient, dubstep, drum & bass, psychill, future garage, IDM, industrial, and even death metal.

Apocalyptic Visions contains 60 patches, each with all 8 Macros assigned, plus entertaining commentary in the "comments" box for each patch. Most of the comments are fictional diary entries outlining a post-apocalyptic story to immerse you in the experience, and can help inspire song ideas.

Sound designer Bryan 'Xenos' Lee says "I took a unique approach with this set using the comments box in the browser section. This isn't just a pack of sounds, but one that tells bits of a story. Follow the diary entries of Joe and his father Jim as they navigate their way through a world decimated by war, famine, disease, crime and addiction. I enjoy fictional writing and thought it and sound design would mesh really well together."

Intro Price: $5.95.
