IK Multimedia updates GrooveMaker 2 with iRing compatibility and releases Megapack and Deep House song packs

IK Multimedia has updated their GrooveMaker 2 for iOS to v1.2, which adds iRing compatibility for touchless motion control. Also, the Song Megapack is now available for In-App Purchase within GrooveMaker 2 (full or free versions). It's a 13 song pack in one for $29.99 / €19.99. Over 3,500 loops in all (3627 loops; 4GB).

Included are all the GrooveMaker 2 loops - other than artist collections and just released collections. They are available through in-app purchase as a bundle or as individual songs.

GrooveMaker 2 is fully operational using the device's touchscreen, but when you use it with the iRing controllers, a set of two "rings" you wear on your hands that feature dot patterns that GrooveMaker 2 recognizes, you will be able to tweak GrooveMaker 2 effects or add/remove parts by waving your hands in front of the device camera. Plus move the rings clockwise or counterclockwise to trigger GrooveMaker 2 randomization.

IK has also released Deep House, a new song pack that features soulful, moody basses to throbbing basslines, swinging drums to warehouse grooves, twisted vocals and dusty chords, funk-fueled loops to trippy leads, and much more.
