OverTone DSP updates 500-Series plug-ins - adds support for VST3

OverTone DSP have updated their 500-series plug-ins for Mac OS X and Windows. VST3 versions are now included, adding all the benefits of the new format, together with live re-sizable user interfaces to suit any screen size or resolution.

Styled as virtual 500-series format modules, the plug-ins are designed to be economical with screen space, while uncluttered and intuitive to operate, focusing on replicating the natural sonic character of analogue designs.

The EQ500 uses innovative analogue filter modelling to accurately replicate the response of analogue circuitry, without requiring up-sampling or other CPU intensive techniques, permitting more instances in a typical DAW session, while the DYN500 provides soft-knee compression coupled with a gentle tape-saturation style overdrive for warmth and character at high signal levels.
