HOFA has announced that titles, artists and all further CD-Text entries are now also supported in Japanese with HOFA's CD & DDP tools.
Beside the standard ISO 8859-1 character encoding that contains the most frequently used special characters of western languages, the definition of CD-Text also allows using the 2-byte Shift-JIS encoding for Japanese.
With CD-Burn & DDP you can now create and edit CD premasters and DDP images with CD-Text using Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana characters. A feature that you won't find in most CD burning applications.
Also HOFA DDP Player and DDP Player Maker will now correctly display Japanese CD-Text that is contained in your DDP-Images and write them onto CD.
The update can be installed for free using the HOFA-Plugins Manager.
All products are available separately or as a bundle for Windows and OS X in the HOFA-Plugins
Shop.

HOFA CD-Burn & DDP and HOFA DDP Player for OS X are also available in the Mac App Store.
