Online Music Foundry has released Granular Strings plus, an expansion pack offering 250 presets for Steinberg's Padshop and Padshop Pro VST granular synthesizers featuring 112 manipulated violin, viola, cello, contrabass and ethnic strings samples using various effects.
Designed by composer and producer, Gary Gibbons, at the World Worm Studios recording facility in Hong Kong, this sound set demonstrates tones and textures using only string samples and the Padshop audio engine.
By using effects that were processed with the audio industry's leading plugins, this expansion pack delivers pads, comps and leads. Its percussion, drones, sound effects and musical sound effect patches provide a foundation for sound design projects as well as composers.
