9th June 2017
UVI has released BeatBox Anthology 2, a large collection of vintage, modern and customized drum machine sounds delivered in a versatile and easy-to-use percussion instrument.
This comprehensive update to their monolithic hardware drum machine instrument includes 250+ custom kits and over 11,000 samples from 111 machines all of whose samples can be tweaked, layered and sliced together in a multitude of ways.
Featuring a 3-layer 12-track architecture, BeatBox Anthology 2 permits personalized hits thanks to per-track sample layers, tone layers, slicing tools, on-board effects, filters, envelopes and EQs. This flexible architecture allows the creation of anything from simple single-sample and layered drum sounds to completely new hybrids.
BeatBox Anthology 2 also includes an integrated 64-step sequencer loaded with over 160 patterns. Users can browse through the included rhythms for inspirational starting points or easily craft their own production-ready beats before drag-and-dropping the MIDI directly into their DAW or desktop.
New in version 2:
BeatBox Anthology 2 offers native 64-bit standalone operation by way of Falcon or the free UVI Workstation, providing comprehensive support for all modern DAWs and simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
BeatBox Anthology 2 is available immediately at an introductory price of $99 / 99€ and at the upgrade price of $49 / 49€ for owners of BeatBox Anthology or Vintage Vault through June 18th, 2017 (regularly $149 / 149€).
