UVI and VI Labs release Ravenscroft 275 Piano for iOS

UVI and VI Labs have teamed up to release Ravenscroft 275 Piano for iOS, a virtual piano for iPad and iPhone, including Audio Unit V3 plugin, comprehensive MIDI support and more.

Ravenscroft 275 offers real sympathetic resonance, true staccato, accurate sustain pedal modeling and re-pedaling and customizable dynamic response curves. The piano sound can be further refined with a number of integrated effects including timbre shift, 3-band EQ, and UVI's Sparkverb reverb. These broad-stroke sculpting tools allow users to easily place the instrument in a mix or alter its mood.

Built on the UVI Engine, Ravenscroft 275 achieves clarity with an efficient RAM and CPU footprint, allowing users to easily utilize multiple instances or integrate it within their existing portable studios. Meanwhile, the overall app footprint and loading times are kept to a minimum by intelligent streaming of the lossless FLAC file format.

Ravenscroft 275 offers full support for CoreMIDI, allowing easy integration into existing setups with external USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboards or more complex MIDI-over-LAN environments. Full support is also provided for Inter-App Audio and Audiobus, and an Audio Unit V3 plugin version is included which allows Ravenscroft 275 to be instanced within portable DAWs.

Ravenscroft 275 Piano is compatible with iPad 4 or newer, iPhone 5 or newer, iPod Touch 6 or newer and all systems running iOS 9.3+ or newer.
